At least qemu requires gcc-3.x to build. I don't know about other parts, but it's likely that entire OpenMoko builds fine with gcc-4. Regarding qemu and gcc-4 see the qemu-devel archives (http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/qemu-devel). IIRC Debian or some other distro has patches that make it build with gcc-4 (with some tradeoffs, obviously). Cheers, Andrzej
