Henryk Plötz has done some excellent work on the mono build in openembedded, and as a result we now have a set of mono packages available for install on the NEO1973 phone. Eventually, we'll get the packages in the openmoko feeds, but for now you can install the packages from the following feed:
add the following to a /etc/ipkg/*-feed.conf file: src/gz mono-armv4t http://dev.bec-systems.com/feed/openmoko/mono ipkg update ipkg install mono The packaging is fairly granular, so look at the listing in the above URL to see a complete list of what is available.
