Vala compiler version and openmoko-terminal2

Hello,

which version of the valac compiler should be used to compile
openmoko-terminal2?
Mine (0.1.2 on latest Ubuntu [IIRC]) complains about option --basedir
not being available (needs at least 0.1.4 grrr)...
