I'm curious as to how anyone (anywhere) is building pulseaudio without issues.
It seems to me (please correct me if I'm wrong) that 1) gcc (all versions) have --disable-libssp 2) avahi needs libssp 3) pulseaudio does not have --disable-avahi In essence pulseaudio should just fail to compile because of the libavahi error (as per Ewan Marshall's comment in bug #1311) The fix is simple, but how are people building this now? Is it that no one has actually done a full rebuild since this changed (gcc libssp disable)? -- Andy / ScaredyCat
