if all the times failed on the same package I would supect on a bad download. I'll try whith "make update && make clean-package-linux-openmoko && make build-pacakge-linux-openmoko " The second tip in http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Mokomakefile is also helpfull on stuborn packages.
