I think there's an initialization missing somewhere. If the LCM is dark after reset, I just do (in u-boot): neo backlight off neo backlight on After which it stays on. The big problem with GTA02v4 is that the whole run seems to have gotten very poor SMT, causing all sorts of stray failures. - Werner
