Hi,

I own a Neo 1973 GTA01 BV4 and averything is working fine to download load kernel and filesystem to SD and then run it. I need to switch usb to host and for this I follow this procedure: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Neo1973_USB_host I patch a 2.6.22.5 kernel following procedure from http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Kernel. Everything seems ok as the file /sys/devices/platform/s3c2410-ohci/usb_mode| |is present. Unfortunately when I switch to usb host mode I get the following messages in var/log/messages:

Jan 22 13:38:40 fic-gta01 user.warn kernel: s3c2410: changing usb to host
Jan 22 13:38:40 fic-gta01 user.info kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using s3c2410-ohci and address 3 Jan 22 13:38:40 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -62 Jan 22 13:38:41 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -62 Jan 22 13:38:41 fic-gta01 user.info kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using s3c2410-ohci and address 4 Jan 22 13:38:41 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -62 Jan 22 13:38:41 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -62 Jan 22 13:38:42 fic-gta01 user.info kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using s3c2410-ohci and address 5 Jan 22 13:38:42 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device not accepting address 5, error -62 Jan 22 13:38:42 fic-gta01 user.info kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using s3c2410-ohci and address 6 Jan 22 13:38:43 fic-gta01 user.err kernel: usb 1-2: device not accepting address 6, error -62

I also made the following tests:
- modification of usb-modeswitch patch with GPE9 instead of GPE5: same error messages - I have also tested the following patched kernel: http://celtune.morb-design.com/uImage-2.6.22.5-moko11+svnr3238-r10-usb-host-neo1973.bin with modules-2.6.22.5-moko11+svnr3238-r10-usb-host-neo1973.tar and OpenMoko-openmoko-devel-image-glibc-ipk-P1-Snapshot-20080120-fic-gta01.rootfs.tar without any success.

Does somebody know what I missed?

Christophe
