-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This pair of patches add support for HDQ protocol batteries and the bq27000 "coulomb counter" or "gas gauge" chip built into the battery.
Together you get an HDQ FIQ engine that talks to a bq27000 over one GPIO and exposes it as a Linux power_supply class device. Both patches create platform driver and devices with footprint in /sys, the HDQ patch operates at the HDQ level without any understanding of the semantics of the registers, while the bq27000 patch "knows" that it is talking to a battery monitor and exposing the information over a Linux power_supply class interface. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHqJ4yOjLpvpq7dMoRAt7/AKCSf5Lf4d86WzQOQcfbFJ9nmkTacgCdH23G 8q5xHcvrBSRa+fIcPx76l1o= =xB+u -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
