Heh, thanks :-) But it can't hurt to know of these issues. You never know if there isn't something we've still missed in GTA02 ... > I have a long, long list of GTA01 issues that need work, Aiii ... > I sure hope Openmoko has some GTA01's to give to you and Andy, because > us GTA01 owners would certainly appreciate your help when you get past > the GTA02 crunch. Hmm, when GTA02 gets out the door, it will have its own trail of surprise issues to resolve, and then there's already much talk about GTA04 and beyond. Besides, working with more than one platform at a time quickly gets messy, just for the bench setup. So, as far as the system level is concerned, I'd actually like to see us move towards a "community supported" model for the daily bughunt on GTA01. There definitely seems to be enough knowledge in the GTA01 user community, and the last few GTA01 kernel bugs I saw getting resolved were handled well enough, so you don't actually seem to need us ;-) Thus, I'd like to put the time we can spend on GTA01 mainly on things that would be difficult to do without help from OpenMoko, such as information about schematics, design issues that have a bit of a history or that are interwoven with things that go beyond GTA01, anything that needs support from our hardware team, etc. Does this sound reasonable ? - Werner
