Status: we love the fixes but can't apply to recent U-Boot since it is
very different in there compared to the patch orig, requested resend
against current U-Boot. Maybe Werner is willing to re-implement the
fixes in a new patch if Michael doesn't have time.
Is ok for me.
If I have time this night to checkout the u-boot git and send a commit.
