Dear All:

I found that if I don't plug the USB (include D+ and D- data) , the PMU setting will not change in U-Boot. I remove U4905 and short the U4905( RT9711)'s VIN and VOUT. I set U4904 (AAT1275) to output 5V. I set MBCC7 =3 (suspend) and MBCC8 = 0, the total current doesn't still increase

Therefore, using 0 ohm resistor replace U4905 is maybe a solution.

Hi Werner:

I set the MBCC7=3 (suspend) and MBCC8=0. I found the USB doesn't supply any current for GTA02. But I plug the USB power into GTA02, the PMU will change it's register status. The MBCC will change back "1".
Can someone give me a SW which the MBCC always is "3"?
Therefore, I can make the DC-DC output 5V and found what happen?

Best Wish
Allen Chang

o- either set max allowable USB current of PCF50633 to 0mA when in hostmode,

That should work if we choose "suspend" in MBCC7.usbdevstat and set
MBCC8.usbenasus = 0

See also Figure 38 and Table 103.

Need verification, though. The PMU is complex enough for surprises ;-)
