I guess Mark's thought is that they patch | against already-patched tree and something needs sorting out. | | First thanks for the patches and I stuck them on our trees including | stable. | | I see that these files are upstream via Alsa, and also that some | mokopatches touch the same files too. So tomorrow -- unless I will be | treading on Harald's work or there is a better idea -- I will study the | mokopatches that touch this area and see if I can make a coherent | patchset that does something upstream can see is useful including your | patches. If it doesn't make sense, I'll just rebase and send your patches.
Wow, it seems I am late to this game, the last week or so our patches in this area are already dumped into Alsa git. I didn't see it go through alsa-devel list though, so what was the path to get this into http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/perex/alsa.git;a=shortlog;h=mm - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkgNIoIACgkQOjLpvpq7dMqgXQCeKd9QsN2rdFqrGkqWYo9q3vJl HhgAnRTU2IZCiqs2LT5Slro5zlLjOxxD =/wsp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
