p.s. it would have been quite a sight, an ASR33 connected via a Neo,
happily typing away with that wonderful sound only Teletypes can make...
Mine had a modem built-in; complete with the old rotary dial on the face. I'd
want the ability to dial a call on the Neo from that!
Alas, I grew weary of repairing mine and no longer have it. You're right about
the sound, that was unique -- a symphony of mechanical movements, punctuated by
that right-hand margin bell.
