Any time you insert patch information inline you need to switch to
"preformat" mode to make sure the email client doesn't do line wrapping
or any html formatting.

Just a FYI, I think kmail on your side makes trouble here by wrapping
long lines. stg import -m chokes on it and mewdecode -q -t (and
thunderbird) brings it back wrapped, I start to think it isn't me.
