This series of patches improves the behaviour of u-boot when the battery is absent or dead. The make the following changes:
- reduce the maximum USB current needed to reach wait_for_power to below 100mA - correct the logic of wait_for_power to actually make it wait until we have good power - make sure we charge an empty battery before trying to boot - assorted small cleanup Note that, if there's no battery at all or if the battery has cut off, u-boot will give the system the benefit of the doubt and try to boot if there's any other acceptable power source. It would be safer to force the system to wait until the battery has been charged to provide some buffer, but this wouldn't let us boot without battery at all. - Werner
