-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Somebody in the thread at some point said: | Hey, | | I had a look at using hardware ECC for the s3c244x. I'm in a state that I | patched uboot to write a ECC for dfu flashed stuff that the kernel likes to | read it and is happy.
After a small discussion how to come at it, patches 2, 3 and 5 of this set went into kernel stable branch: by default hw ECC is disabled because it conflicts with existing software ECC used in existing partitions. But the work here is great and we will definitely end up using it by default, maybe at the time we transition to 2.6.26 we also get people to reflash all their partitions. So thanks a lot for the work and patches. - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkiiu0YACgkQOjLpvpq7dMo5hQCeNd7s4wCDTjmgP4SxcHV4LMJq jMgAn0bxGfUMJdb8jIQ2uI/Ie60yI/pU =DhdZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
