Having trouble with -tracking

I cannot get either an andy-tracking or stable-tracking build that 
functions at the moment. Unfortunately, my debug board is on a slow boat 
to Vietnam so I can't get serial console output.  Both -tracking 
branches hang after "Starting kernel ...". Perhaps I'm missing something 
in my .config? Anyone else experiencing this problem?
