What is it doing, issuing nothing? I guess confirm that
/dev/input/event1 is the touchscreen and check it with hexdump.
Orientation appears wrong. Almost like x/y are flipped.
I will investigate further. It could be some other input is detected by
Android as a touchscreen and is interfering.
