| When I was in the Taipei office, I was told of the four antennas in my | GTA02v6, only the wifi antenna couldn't be totally powered down by | software. If I didn't want it to use any power at all, I would have to | physically remove it. Is this still the case? Well, not antenna taking power but a "module". Yes the AR6001 is wired up so it has the "always on" 3.3V power going to it... in fact even this turns off when the device is off though. But it is powered in suspend for example. However you can send it a command to enter a very low power state, which is what we're talking about making easier on this thread. So that will get us as close as possible to it not taking any power. - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAklLXf8ACgkQOjLpvpq7dMq8BQCfS6y/aqdL/Vo1fV00oDvuFnGX 9XYAn2yH+5z4+LVwOeDH83o+TTpUacIs =DHyP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
