| After having the mfd-driver for the PCF50633 in upstream, we need to | remove the old driver from drivers/i2c/chips because it may break the | kernel build if CONFIG_SENSORS_PCF50633 and CONFIG_MFD_PCF50633 are | defined simultaniously. | | After applying the following two patches the file | drivers/i2c/chips/pcf50633.c can be removed. Thanks for this, I stuck these two on pending-tracking and added a third that nukes the file. Some patches in andy-tracking still touched the nuked file interestingly enough, I guess they are from the early period of Balaji's changes when that file was still live. I took all that out too and checked it still builds on GTA02 and 03. One little thing it helps if the patches are in patch -p1 type against the same file, like a/drivers/xyz and b/drivers/xyz, and has From: and Signed-off-by:. I took the liberty of adding those for these, but since you mentioned some more patches are coming I thought I'd note it. - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAklvWeoACgkQOjLpvpq7dMoGaQCePrAIjP74O3NybiiDviZrchR2 ScIAn0hSca4Widn17Y5lmQ6Rhqq4lhBq =cDI7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
