please reply to this msg to post your results. A script to automate at least the dd part and sysfs node tweaking would be nice to. Dunno if readout of sat sig strength can be done concurrently by script, as dd is cpu-hog. For that reason please watch sat sig strength in settings-GPS-satdetails for at least 60sec to give a chance for display to refresh
