I think the precaution is mostly for multicast traffic with ttl != 1. I
believe OSPF has ttl=1, so you should be good with "multicast nhs" on
spokes and "multicast dynamic" on spokes. Though if you try to route
additional non-link local multicast traffic over it, it'll not work as
expected.
