I am always working a bit on the tooling, because we are using it
now for a private NER annotation project.
The tools we are using are the following:
- Corpus Server to host a the documents
- UIMA Cas Editor
- Corpus Server Plugin for Cas Editor
- OpenNLP Plugin for Cas Editor
- UIMA Integration to train models
My current goal is to get these all into a state where
they can be released and used by others as well.
To really make a community labeling project we still need
a web based annotation tool. Anyway the OpenNLP Plugin
for the Cas Editor is a great step forward because we can
now make first experiences on how to use the OpenNLP tools in
an annotation tool.
