Unfortunately our CI (continuous integration) system is a little off its
rocker, and I know at least I haven't been able to use it for reliably
tracking test failures for a while.  We likely have test failures in
many of our branches now.

If I remember correctly, you want to run the tests against a non-Sun
Java.  My best suggestion would be to try running tests with Sun java,
then with the non-Sun java, and see what is different.
