I had exactly the same problem on my system. I have libusb-0.1.10a on a Mandriva Cooker, and there is no libusb.pc. I had to remove the REQUIRES="... libusb" from acinclude.m4 to build openobex from CVS. There is no .pc file on the upstream libusb tarball. The pkg-config support seems to be a feature added by the Ubuntu package. -- Eduardo
