Those are simply spam (unless you have asian aquaintances, you should delete all mail with asian character sets). However, here's a short explanation: The subject in that mail in encoded in the mail header like this: Subject: [openobex-users] =?GB2312?B?16jStbT6wO29+LP2v9qxqLnY?= GB2312 is the character set (similar to ISO-8859-1 or UTF-8): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GB2312 If that is not decoded by your email program, it is broken (or is missing essential features). And PLEASE configure your email program to NOT send HTML messages.
