Ok. That may explain it. Debian currently only contains mono-1.9. Maybe they upload 2.1 eventually. > > That's all I get. Does it have to be part of cs-obexftp? On linux, you usually update/install software with the package manager or from source. > > 3. You should not include _ANY_ binaries in the source. Some .resx files contain something like: <assembly alias="System.Drawing" name="System.Drawing, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> <data name="$this.BackgroundImage" type="System.Drawing.Bitmap, System.Drawing" mimetype="application/x-microsoft.net.object.bytearray.base64"> <value> and then some encoding BLOB of image data follows. That image has a source, usually, and a license. > > The Bluetooth stuff is not distributable in this form: > > 1. You may want to specify him as copyright holder, then. Since you exclude it in Licence.txt and those files have no descriptive header... > > You cannot just take stuff from other authors and include it with your > > own! That's not free enough for distributions like Debian. Artwork is a complicated thing and many do not look at the license but usually regret that when the author comes back at them. In any case, you should list where they come from (not doing that is breaking copyright) and under which license they are available. That also has the advantage that you have a good overview and maybe see that you are probably not allowed to use some of them (like the wording "desktop use only"). I really suggest you to do that. It can be very expensive not to do that. > hum, yu speak about the download page, if yes i m not sur to > understand, you just want , i put a release tar.bz2 in download page > of the last svn version ? Take obexftp or openobex as example: they have a source file for a specific version like openobex-1.4.tar.gz for version 1.4. The format does not really matter, a .zip is fine (although it has no idea about unix permissions).
