-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I use OpenOBEX for the implementation of SyncML over OBEX (http://libsyncml.opensync.org). Nokia released some mobiles which sometimes change the assigned channel for a service after a reboot. It looks like the mobiles take the first free channel. Symbian is a multi tasking system and so the order of the services is not 100 percent predictable. The users can no longer write static configurations by using the Bluetooth address and the channel. Is it planned for OpenOBEX to support something like the search feature of sdptool under Linux? Today I use the following code: BtOBEX_TransportConnect(obexhandle, BDADDR_ANY, &bdaddr, channel) I look for a way to replace the channel with something like a service UUID. The service UUIDs are part of the OMA DS specification. Can you give me an advice how I can handle this problem?
