Try it out. Read the OpenOCD documentation so that the role of .cfg
files is clear, and so that you can create one that fits your
situation if you need to.

Maybe MIPS32 is? Please remember, that pretty much every chip that
you can get today is much more than a CPU, and OpenOCD does not
really care about all the peripherals, so you need to focus on the
important part.

But if you have access to another adapter which OpenOCD supports then
that will work too.
