Hello Tomek, Jana,

I am not sure if one can use pure gdb. I found following page 
http://www.ofb.net/gnu/gdb/gdb_136.html

But I would still rather prefer mips-sde-elf-gdb from 
http://home.comcast.net/~mcatudal/

Honestly, I have never tried that. I have PIC32 Starter kit in my drawer but 
before I finally got Hirose connector, I had settled to STM32...
