Hi all, unfortunately I don't have an iMX53 at hand any more, so I can't be very helpful now. However, at the time of my patch I was using an iMX53 EVK board with Amontec JTAG key. The command I used was: openocd -f jtagkey.cfg -f imx53.cfg I remember I get some errors when issuing the command (like James pointed out): imx53.SDMA: nonstandard IR value RCLK - adaptive Info : RCLK (adaptive clock speed) not supported - fallback to 1000 kHz Polling target failed, GDB will be halted. Polling again in 100ms Polling target failed, GDB will be halted. Polling again in 300ms Info : JTAG tap: imx53.DAP tap/device found: 0x1ba00477 (mfg: 0x23b, part: 0xba00, ver: 0x1) Info : TAP imx53.SDMA does not have IDCODE Info : JTAG tap: imx53.SJC tap/device found: 0x1190d01d (mfg: 0x00e, part: 0x190d, ver: 0x1) Warn : failed to enable tap imx53.DAP Anyway I confirm you that I was able to halt the processor, single step, resuming and even dump internal ROM. I was using OpenOCD version 0.4 pulled from git Hope this helps Best regards Luca Ellero ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
