Sorry, but i'm not able to: i do not have the board and the programmer
here with me. I think all it writes is

Auto-detected RTOS: FreeRTOS

And that's the only thing that changes. Unfortunately the code has
nothing to say about it when nothing is detected.

I think your 5.0 builds already have rtos support enabled, no extra
switches are necessary. I'm starting to suspect it's a strange gdb
version you've got that's not actually requesting the thread
information, you can try to place a breakpoint on both
gdb_thread_packet and rtos_thread_packet and see if those are getting
called and if rtos_qsymbol is ever getting called etc.
