Hi! As I've started commiting patches to the project, I guess it's high time I introduced myself a little bit.
I am currently studying electrical engineering at the Budapest University of Technology (and Economics). I am pursuing my masters degree, entering my final year this fall. My thesis subject roughly translates to "Real-time tracing of applications running on ARM-Cortex microcontrollers". The goal of the thesis is to develop a set of eclipse plugins that will be able to exploit the real-time trace peripheral of these cores in order to ease development and debugging. My intention is that these plugins will - in the background - use openocd to communicate with the target, remotely configure the trace peripheral for their needs, and present the data to the user (developer). I intend to use the TCL server for communication between my plugins and openocd, so my contributions will mainly be gathered around this functionality. I've used svn a lot, but mainly only for trivial tasks (sharing code between teammates at subject projects), and I have little to no experience with gerrit, jenkis, and git, so I'm asking for your patience if I do anything stupid. I'll try to keep that to a minimum. I certainly hope you'll like my work, and that it will be helpful to the project.
