Hi,

as Freddie Chopin already pointed out (in direct reply to a similar
request from you!) to you: You cannot debug a CPLD with GDB!

GDB is used for debugging asm/c/c++ code written for some target
processor! A CPLD in itself is no processor at all! You simply can do
boundary scans, configure it's logic cells, etc (look in the archievs of
this list for Freddie's reply on how to do that). But you can't connect
a GDB session to it. Period.

If you are trying to connect GDB to a soft-core processor running inside
the CPLD (which I doubt), you probably want to connect your JTAG-Adapter
to the JTAG-Pins of the soft-core processor, not the JTAG of the CPLD...

Cheers,
Manuel
