Hey Tim,

I have just recently subscribed to this mailing list to get up to speed on
OpenOCD with intentions (whether I have time to get to it or not, I am not
sure) of supporting our newest TMS470M/TMS5470/RM4x devices in Opioid.

As I have not used OpenOCD myself yet, I may not be able to help you with the
tool itself, but if it is a device question, I can either answer it or find the
answer here within TI.

Best Regards,

Subject: [OpenOCD-devel] I'm on the wrong list (TMS470 user's questions)

And -- please forgive me -- about to commit a faux pass.

Is there a good resource for OpenOCD _users_ to get questions answered?
The only place that I know of that deals with OpenOCD user's questions is the
OpenOCD forum on Sparkfun, and that forum seems to have the interesting
property that only simple questions get answered: anything difficult just gets
loud resounding silence, without even incompetent bloviating to fill the space.

(My specific question involves the TI SA470R1B1 chip, which is a
high-temperature qualified version of the TMS470R1B1, and appears to be the
only remnant of the TMS470 line that's still in current production.
I've got many happy miles with OpenOCD and Cortex M3 parts, but I'm hitting a
wall with the 470. This is obviously a developer's list, so I'm not even going
to _ask_ them here unless invited.)
