"soft_reset_halt" does not work well on LPC1768 for me.
You likely want
"monitor reset halt"
or
"monitor reset init". Use the latter for flashing firmware to the chip.
Care must be taken for the settings to "reset_config" to match the
actual hardware resets connections.
