Andreas, thanks for the reply, debug implementation (x86 probemode for
Quark) is pretty straightforward thankfully :)
I will get the code ready and do a cleanup as its been a few months since i
wrote it.
x86 (IA-32) has port mapped IO (16 bits) as well as memory mapped IO so i
followed what was done for write/display memory commands in
src/target/target.c and added port write/display commands
eg i added functions:
handle_iow_command
handle_iod_command
and the iow & iod commands work fine, just not sure if i will need to
locate them in a different file to src/target/target.c
anyway, let me get a patch to 0.7.0 working and i will be back to you in a
couple of days.
it is already useful it its current state, just not 100% feature complete
