Please retry the current version, http://openocd.zylin.com/2141 ,
after Brian added a call for jtag2swd sequence, it should work with
all the supported targets.

Probably the resistor is of unsuitable value? What is the log output
here?

But with FTDI adapters you can have really low-level control of what's
going on.
