Dont do that. Instead, copy contrib/99-openocd.rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/
to assign the required privileges to members of the "plugdev" group.

As long as ttyUSB0 was the first (JTAG) half of the FTDI chip and you still
have a ttyUSB1 corresponding to the serial port of the flyswatter2, this is
also expected. OpenOCD unloads any kernel drivers connected to the
interface before claiming it. Although a setting in the adapter's EEPROM
should prevent the kernel from attaching the serial driver to the first
interface in the first place. Maybe that's not configured in the flyswatter.
