Hi,
I'm trying to program the NUCLEO-F411RE test board with the classic "blink led"
program.
Following all the steps used with the board STM32F429I Discovery, I still have
an issue with debugging as this board NucleoF411RE is not present in the
packages.
When creating the project, type STM32F4xx is selected, chip STM32F411xE is
chosen.
- Building works fine.
- The device selected in Properties/settings/devices is STM32F411RE (No board
found for NUCLEO-F411RE)
- GDB OpenOCD Debugging is created, config option is -f target/stm32f4x.cfg.
I get this error:

I tried to create a new .cfd file similar to the st_nucleo_f401re but is did
not worked. I also tried to create a project as if it was a NucleoF401RE board,
but no success, I get this message:
Info : device id = 0x10006431
Warn : Cannot identify target as a STM32 family.
Error: auto_probe failed
Error: Connect failed. Consider setting up a gdb-attach event for the target to
prepare target for GDB connect, or use 'gdb_memory_map disable'.
Error: attempted 'gdb' connection rejected
So I'm not sure where to look at, thanks in advance for the support.
