OpenOCD is an Open Source community project, so there is no top-down
planning like in companies (so many people keep asking this lately!) -
either people contribute features or they don't. An initial config for
debugging (as opposed to flashing) takes only minutes to put together,
so don't expect a formal roadmap for chip support, it rather depends on
what hardware people have access to. The first patch usually "wins".

Check the latest Git branch for any merged features and the Gerrit site
for any pending patches:

http://openocd.zylin.com/

Only two search hits for "lpc", so feel free to contribute a target
config and a board config for your hardware. See file HACKING or
http://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/html/patchguide.html for how to.

Thanks,
Andreas
