As mentioned in a previous message, support for RISC-V was added to the former
GNU ARM Eclipse, and thus the project is currently rebranding to GNU MCU
Eclipse.
As such there is a new GNU MCU Eclipse OpenOCD release:

I'm working closely with the RISC-V team and I plan to merge their changes and
issue new releases periodically.
When the code will be more or less stable, perhaps we should consider merging
the changes up to the master.
