I submitted http://openocd.zylin.com/#/c/4312/ a while back, but haven't
gotten any reviews. When talking to our simulator using the remote bitbang
interface it massively speeds things up. I realize this is not a common use
case but I'd really like to contribute this back if possible.
Could you take some time to review this code?
