For those curious on the distribution of downloads by platform, there is a page
that can display GitHub release download counters:

https://www.somsubhra.com/github-release-stats/?username=gnu-mcu-eclipse&repository=openocd

To my surprise, 32-bit downloads are still a slice that cannot be ignored,
about 1 32-bit to 4-5 64-bit downloads.

The latest GNU MCU Eclipse OpenOCD release is:

https://github.com/gnu-mcu-eclipse/openocd/releases/tag/v0.10.0-11-20190118

This release no longer includes any additional patches from the RISC-V fork,
since they were harmful for other targets.

The recent upstreamed RISC-V support is a big step forward, it generally allows
to flash the QSPI and run a debug session on the HiFive1 board, but
unfortunately RISC-V support is not yet very reliable (for example Eclipse
throws a "Target not available" message box; ignoring it seems fine).

Regards,

Liviu
