Hello,
I have experienced an issue when trying to debug / flash TM4C (Tiva Launchpad
Board): Everything is fine as long as the internal 16 MHz PIOSC is used. But as
soon as I load a binary that enables the TM4Cs PLL and uses the board's 16 MHz
main oscillator I can't reliably reset or debug the device.
'monitor reset halt' in gdb results in:
(gdb) mon reset halt
adapter speed: 22060 kHz
memory write failed: 0x7
memory write failed: 0x7
memory read failed: 0x7
jtag status contains invalid mode value - communication failure
TARGET: tm4c123gh6pm.cpu - Not halted
in procedure 'reset'
in procedure 'ocd_bouncer'
memory read failed: 0x7
jtag status contains invalid mode value - communication failure
Polling target tm4c123gh6pm.cpu failed, trying to reexamine
memory read failed: 0x7
Examination failed, GDB will be halted. Polling again in 100ms
Similarly, 'load' results in:
Error erasing flash with vFlashErase packet
However, two consecutive attempts to 'load' succeed.
I also lose the ability to interrupt the program with Ctrl-D, which always
drops me in the fault handler, despite the program running normally.
