Dear developers, Based on your feedback, I've made some improvements to the logo choices. Please make your choice on the following (new) page:
https://embeetle.com/figures/logo_matrix.png Those that already casted their vote will see their names at the bottom. Feel free to change your choice. Just drop me a mail. I'll update the figure regularly as I receive more votes. About the improvements: ======================== - I've made all logos monochrome. - You can now choose from a matrix. The rows define what the chip looks like. The columns define the extra ornament applied on the chip. - You won't see any text in the matrix. That's because we can do this voting in several iteration steps: - FIRST ROUND: We choose the logo icon from the matrix. - SECOND ROUND: I add the text "OpenOCD" in several font styles and sizes to the chosen icon. - THIRD ROUND(?): I can do some minor modifications here and there on the chosen logo. Icon input from the community: =============================== I'm just a humble member of the OpenOCD community. I certainly don't want to dominate the logo choice. I just like to draw and offer my help. If any of you has drawn some nice icons, please feel free to send them to me. I'll add them to the matrix so they can participate in the voting. Note: ===== I didn't push the new 'logo_matrix.png' yet to git/gerrit. I'll think it's easiest for now to just update the webpage regularly as the voting takes place.
