well, there are many voting systems, but for choosing a logo I think we can do
it without special software.
the systems we can consider are:
- in one round, by taking the max count choice; not very fair if the top choice
has less votes that the other combined;
- in two rounds, by taking the two top choices and voting again (like when
electing mayors);
- in several iteration by eliminating the min count choice and redistributing
votes, until a single choice remains or until the top choice has more votes
than the other combined; quite fair, I would say; btw, this is how Boris
Johnson was elected PM.
for now, from the 4 initial choices, A2 got eliminated, so we have 3 choices
left.
if Tommy can redistribute his vote too, we'll be in the second iteration; one
more and we should be done.
