From v0.11.0 (March 7th, 2021) we have already merged 433 patches and
few others are ready to be merged.
I think it's time to prepare for a new release for early 2022.
I have just asked Steve Bennett about jimtcl; version 0.81 should be
tagged in 3~4 weeks.
In OpenOCD we are already using "almost" the latest jimtcl commit, so
I don't expect any issue there.
What about tagging v0.12.0-rc1 after jimtcl 0.81 is out?
Which patches already in gerrit would be valuable to review and/or
merge before the code freeze?
From my side, I would like to see merged the series about ADIv6 support.
Thank you for your work!
I personally do not bound to any target per version. IMO, regular version are
important for
distributions. There will be always some missing functionality or fix, just
create the tag and it
will be signal for all to start more intensive testing with potential post rc1
fixes. If the
workflow actually allow us to handle rcX fixes :)
