"New version" means additional modes: dual-SPI, dual-DPI, dual-QPI, octal, 
microwire (the 93xxxx stuff). That's already implemented, but I still have to 
run extensive tests to make sure there won't be a regression. 

I'm afraid this will hardly ever make it into a OpenOCD release, as it's way to 
big to have anybody else to review/test it ... So to remain an optional patch.

Hello,
It seems that there is no driver for the SPI of the STM32L5 for the 
communication with external flash, is this correct? Or am I missing something?
If so, could it be added ?
