Dear developers,
Alan, Tommy, Paul, Tomas and Liviu,

First of all my apologies for this late reply. I was ill for more than a week.

I'm in contact with the Geehy engineers. It seems that one of them tried to
push this APM32 chip support:

7421: Geehy: add APM32 support | [ https://review.openocd.org/c/openocd/+/7421
| https://review.openocd.org/c/openocd/+/7421 ]

Unfortunately, the patch was not accepted. I don't know why exactly, and I'm
not familiar with the OpenOCD source code - so I'm not able to write a fix. How
much time would it cost you guys to fix this, and get it merged into the
master/main branch? I'm willing to make a donation to the OpenOCD project to
cover some of your time.

Unfortunately, I'm limited in what I can afford financially. In a later stage,
we'll try to convince manufacturers like Geehy to fund these things. However,
that takes time (large companies == bureaucracy). For now, I want to move
quickly and will just fund it myself. I can afford up to a few hundred euros.

Kind regards,
Kristof
